First game!

We were awesome! Talk about natural talent! Passing, catching, chasing that ball when it rolled away! Go the Arahoe Shooting Stars! 

Games

Hi all,

Well done to all the champs who have been turning up to practices! Remember: Every Tuesday lunch time.

Our first game is NEXT thursday 16th May! The draw with times/court information should come out early next week.

On Tuesday (14th) the girls will be issued with a sports skirt and hopefully a sports top. (If there is no sports top they have been asked to wear their normal Arahoe polo)

Our first Netball practice

Today we practiced throwing and catching the ball! Remember: always make a "w" with your hands to catch the ball.

Details...

Games:

• Games are at Te pai Courts on a Thursday afternoon.
• If your child cannot make it please let Kelly or myself know prior.
• Please arrive at least 20 minutes before the game so we can warm up etc
• We will need a parent to keep score ( score cards picked up at Te Pai courts on arrival)
• Game 1 is in Week 1 Term 2
• As we have 9 players there will most probably always be subs. These will be swapped and changed around at half time to ensure everyone has a turn. 

Practices:

• Every Tuesday at lunch time
• Parent help welcome:)
• Children who are at school and don't come to practices might be subs first half of the game on Thursday
• We will practising throwing, catching, passing and moving around the court.
